Overview

Kavala’s history has been shaped for centuries around its natural harbor — a sheltered bay that welcomed sailors, merchants and entire civilizations. In autumn, the city reveals a quieter, more atmospheric side. As you explore Kavala from the sea, ancient fortifications, hillside houses and the gentle rhythm of the harbor unfold in softer light. Relax on deck and enjoy the calm Aegean, golden reflections on the water and the peaceful shoreline. Your private tour begins at Kavala Port, sailing past the Old Town, the Aqueduct, the wooden fishing‑boat shipyard and the Broken Bridge. Continue west toward the Fish Auction House, the Courthouse, Lucy Hotel and Kalamitsa Beach. If the sea remains warm, we may pause briefly for a refreshing dip or quiet relaxation. Upon request, the itinerary can be extented to include exploration of the picturesque Gulf of Kavala and/or fishing activities (trolling, rod, line, sabiki, spearfishing) at €90 per additional hour.
