Run the Old Tokaido Trail Mt. Fuji views and historic townscape

The Old Tokaido is a historical trail, built more than 400 years ago, that is still largely unknown to most international visitors. You can run the unique trail at a talking-pace with an English-speaking guide who is knowledgeable about its history This section is famous for its great views of Mt. Fuji and for preserving the atmosphere of the old townscape. If you get tired, you can ride in my support car at any time. ＜Attention＞ ・This is an approximately 10 km running trip. ・Based on my experience, anyone who runs regularly should be able to complete the course comfortably.

   Seiken-ji Temple

   15 min

   Seikenji is still largely unknown to international visitors, while many Japanese wish to visit it because of its historical importance and beautiful coastal views.

   Satta-toge Pass

   30 min

   Satta Pass has special significance for Japanese people because of its great views of Mt. Fuji. This view is often introduced in school textbooks to help students learn about Mt. Fuji.

   Tokaido Headman of the Mansion Koike House

   15 min

   This is a heritage site where you can experience the atmosphere of the old Tokaido Trail. You can learn about the history and significance of the Tokaido here.
