   At this stop, we discuss the history of the court system in Nice, when it was part of Savoy. We learn about the history of the building and why it it was designed the way it was.

   Palais de la Prefecture

   Over the past 400 years, this building has been the home to the reigning ruler of the area, whether it be a Duke of Savoy, King of Sardinia, or a prefect of the French Empire. Hear about the changes made over the years. We also discuss the history of the Cours Saleya and the terraces by the sea.

   Palais de Justice

   This stop encompasses many elements - The history of this center square, the mystery of the Dominican Convent, the current Palais de Justice, the Clock Tower and the Barracks.

   Opera de Nice

   15 min

   We will discuss the history of theaters on this space, and the architect who created the current opera house including a discussion of the new tech that was used to create it.
