My Granny's secrets Making Gnocchi

Gnocchi are one of the typical dishes of the city of Verona and to me, they represent family and sharing. Like a family, we are going to make them and eat them together.

Since I was little I have always loved helping my Nonna in her house in the countryside. If I think back to those moments I see the large wooden table in the center of the room, the flour here and there, her smiles, and my little pieces of pasta stolen and then eaten. Gnocchi are simple and quick to prepare but at the same time, they can give you nuts. In these hours together I will teach you to recognize the perfect potatoes, to prepare the dough following my Nonna's recipe, and finally to give them the shape that characterizes them throughout the world. Then, while we enjoy a cozy aperitivo, you'll be able to learn and cook them properly. Then we will sit at the same table and enjoy them accompanied by a glass of wine from a special Venetian winery and lots of laughter. IMPORTANT: The recipe will be made and cooked with no/low salt and sugar to savor the true essence of the food and be surprised by the sensations that will be perceived on the palate.
