Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg is a charming destination that seamlessly blends its 19th-century German roots with a sophisticated, modern wine culture. Founded in 1846 by German settlers, the city maintains its heritage through historic limestone architecture, traditional "Sunday Houses," and authentic biergartens that line the bustling Main Street. Beyond its cultural history, it serves as the epicenter of the Texas Wine Country, boasting dozens of award-winning vineyards along the Highway 290 corridor.
