   We start the day picking you up in Oaxaca City to head towards Santiago Matatlan, known as the mezcal capital of the world.

   Visit to the Maguey fields: Get your cameras ready! We will walk among the maguey fields and learn more about this process.

   Visit to the Palenque Lopez Real : Step into a familiar pallet where you will know step by step the artisanal production process: cooking in an earthen oven, grinding, fermentation and distillation. We will try a selection of artisan mezcales while you learn to identify their aromas, flavors and characteristics.

   An ancestral fermented drink : We will enjoy the pulque : an ancestral drink and learn more about its history, culture and tradition.
