    Itinerary

    1. 1

      Floating Gardens of Xochimilco

      2.5 hours

A live local guide will take you on a 150-minute boat ride and explain the history of the canals and floating gardens of the Xochimilco community, explain what is allowed and prohibited in the area, culture cues and the traditions surrounding city life. The iconic canals and floating gardens of Xochimilco are the last remnants of the transportation system created by the Aztecs, are located in southern Mexico City and have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987. Taste the flavors and colors of Mexico like soda, beer, tequila and mezcal, also a speaker to listen mexican and american music to play karaoke. Play the Mexican bingo. Visit my family's island, which is more than 500 years old and eat Mexican Tacos and buy cold cocktails to support my community. Sail back to the port, while we will enjoy unlimited drinks. We speak excellent English and accept credit cards. Restrooms are available both at the dock and on the island.
