   Inaugurated in June 1908, the Municipal Market of Loulé is one of the best examples of revivalist architecture in the Algarve. You can see the fresh caught fish, fruits, vegetables, typical Algarve sweets and products.

   The castle of Arab origin, rebuilt in the XIII century, had a large walled perimeter, part of which is still visible.

   Museu Municipal Loule

   The Museum presents a long-term exhibition that tells the history of the territory of Loule from prehistory to the modern period, having selected the most significant objects, collected in different areas of the county as a result of research projects, prospecting and occasional findings.

   Nossa Senhora da Conceicao Hermitage

   Despite the architectural simplicity, the interior of the hermitage contains several artistic treasures, such as the baroque altarpiece in gilded woodwork with some high quality images, in particular that of Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Equally interesting is the set of figurative tiles depicting the life of the Virgin and that decorate the walls of the hermitage. Coming from Lisbon in the mid-17th century, they already revealed elements of the rocaille aesthetic.

   The museum housing the Islamic Baths was hidden under the paving and foundations of the stately home, was an imposing, well-preserved public bathhouse (hammam) built against the city wall, both dating back to the Islamic period.
