Overview
This tour will allow you to experience the mysterious and iconic Everglades National Park on this small group (less than 12 guests) adventure led by a Biologist/Florida Master Naturalist. You will explore three unique habitats by hiking with your guide. This provides the opportunity to see rare orchids, alligators, birds, and other wildlife! You may choose between A 2 hour paddle on a kayak or a 90-Minute Boat Ride through the mangroves. These experiences will allow you to see diverse habitats as well as many plants and animals including wading birds, alligators, crocodiles, manatees, turtles and fish. In addition, a picnic lunch w/ vegan & vegetarian choices are included along w/ snacks and drinks throughout the day. We are one of only a couple of operators permitted to guide tours in Everglades National Park! Meet your naturalist guide and proceed to Everglades National Park where you will enjoy a narrated history of the park enroute to your first hike.

Anhinga Trail

This trail will take you through "River of Grass" region in the Southern Everglades. This area also gives you the best chance to see an American alligator. You can also see lots of birds, fish, and turtles at this location.

Flamingo

Enjoy an amazing guided kayak trip in Everglades National Park. You will paddle alongside manates and crocodiles and many species of birds.

Mahogany Hammock

The hammocks are a unique ecosystem in South Florida. Here, we will take a walk through the old growth mahogany hammock; which has the largest living mahogany tree in the United States! Occasionally, we can also see barred owls here and snakes!

Here, we will explore the endangered pinelands habitat in the Everglades! Here we can see lots of smaller threatened and endangered species, such as the Liguus snail!

Meeting and pickup
We can meet in the parking lot. Your car will be safe and secure and there is free parking.
Wild Lime Adventures will pick up at hotels and vacation rentals and other locations in many Miami, Hollywood, and Ft. Lauderdale areas and neighborhoods. We also pick up from Port Miami .Wild Lime Adventures can drop off at Port Miami and Port Everglades. We can store your luggage on the van throughout the tour! We can drop off at Miami Airport and Ft. Lauderdale Airport. We can provide a convenient meet up location for anyone coming from outside our pick up areas, including those coming from the Keys, Homestead, and other south Miami-Dade County locations. You can also easily do this tour if coming from the West Coast of Florida (Marco Island, Fort Myers and Naples). We can provide a convenient meet up location for those coming from north or west of our pick up range in Ft. Lauderdale. For shared tours, we may not be able to pick up north of Sunrise Blvd. or west of I-95 in Ft. Lauderdale. We provide free luggage stowage. Some guests may decide to be dropped off at the airport, cruise port, or at a different location or hotel at the conclusion of the tour. There is no extra charge for this service, as long as it is within our transportation zone. We assume that guests will be returning to the same pick up or meet up location at the end of the tour unless they make other arrangements with us ahead of time. We are usually able to provide a broader range of transportation for private tours. The standard pick up time is about 7:15 or 7:30 a.m. However, we will message you the afternoon before the tour to provide you with the exact pick up time. This time will typically be a 10 minute window of time. Please be ready prior to that pick up window. If you book this directlty with Wild Lime Adventures on our website, you will receive a discount!
