The traditional fortress of the Kacchawaha kings is at Amber (Amer), so this is the logical place from which to begin your exploration. The majestic 16th century Amber Fort, on top of a hill, dominates the landscape and is Jaipur’s biggest monument. Our Tour Guide will explain you all history and architecture.

  2. 2

    Jal Mahal

    30 min

The Jal Mahal was built by Maharaja Madho Singh I to serve as a lodge for his duck hunting parties. The Mahal is a testament to the bond that was formed between the Rajput’s and Mughal Empire. The architecture of the palace has resemblance of both types of construction. The beauty of the palace was the enhanced by many generations of Maharajas. For example Maharaja Jai Singh II added to the beauty of the palace by creating gardens to make the Jal Mahal more picturesque. After generations of creativity we today have the magnificence of the “water palace”.

  3. 3

Hawa Mahal - The Palace of Breeze

    30 min

Hawa Mahal means the 'Palace of Winds' or the 'Wind Palace'. It has 953 small windows (Jharokas), they were built to keep the wind blowing inside the palace. It was a summer retreat for many Rajputs families during olden times. Hawa Mahal is one of the major attractions in Jaipur

  4. 4

    The City Palace

    1 hour

A complex of courtyards, gardens and buildings, the impressive City Palace is right in the centre of the Old City. The outer wall was built by Jai Singh II, but within it the palace has been enlarged and adapted over the centuries. There are palace buildings from different eras, some dating from the early 20th century. It is a striking blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture
