You will practice basic brush movements before creating your own sumi-e artwork on special Japanese paper. Popular subjects include bamboo, flowers, mountains, and traditional Japanese motifs. The workshop takes place in a calm and relaxing indoor space in central Hiroshima, making it a perfect cultural activity during your trip. No previous art experience is required, and both adults and children can enjoy the experience. At the end of the workshop, you can take your finished artwork home as a special souvenir from Japan.
