Starting the way in the Alto de la Farrapona, you will discover the Lakes of Saliencia : a spectacular glacier complex formed by Lake Cave and Lake Black. You’ll have time to peer into the Mirador de la Cueva and explore this iconic corner of the Cantabrian mountain range, surrounded by peaks and fresh air.

  2. 2

    Pola de Somiedo

    1.8 hours

We will head to Pola de Somiedo, where we will take a small guided tour of orientation. Afterwards, you can explore the village at your leisure, learn about its local pulse and enjoy good traditional food.

  3. 3

    Senda del Oso

    1.3 hours

In the afternoon, we will move to the council of Proaza to discover the famous Bear Path. There, you will learn firsthand the history and recovery of the Cantabrian brown bear before visiting the fence where several specimens live in semi-freedom.
