Itinerary

  1. 1

    Las Coloradas

    1.5 hours

Discover the striking pink lagoons of Las Coloradas, where nature and the centuries-old tradition of sea salt production come together to create a remarkable landscape. During a guided walk, learn how seawater is transformed into salt and why natural microorganisms give the lagoons their distinctive pink hues. Visit the viewpoint for sweeping views of the colorful salt ponds and enjoy time to capture photos of this unusual landscape, where the shades of pink shift with the sunlight and natural conditions.

  2. 2

    Cancunito

    45 min

Discover Cancunito Beach, a beautiful stretch of Yucatán’s coastline where pale sand meets turquoise waters. Often compared to the beaches of Cancún for its colors, this coastal spot offers a more natural setting to enjoy the sea and surrounding landscape. Take a refreshing swim, capture photos of the scenery, or simply relax by the shore while watching seabirds glide overhead. After exploring the pink lagoons of Las Coloradas, Cancunito offers a welcome change of scenery and a chance to enjoy the quieter side of the Yucatán coast.

  3. 3

    Parque Natural Ria Lagartos

    2.5 hours

Set out by boat into Río Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, a remarkable wetland where winding mangrove channels shelter an extraordinary variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes open for pink flamingos, crocodiles, and resident and migratory birds as your local guide shares insights into the ecosystem and the species that call it home. The adventure also includes a traditional Maya clay bath. Coat your skin with natural white clay and enjoy this distinctive local experience before heading to a nearby beach, where you can rinse off the clay and cool down in the sea. From spotting wildlife among the mangroves to enjoying the unusual ritual of the clay bath by the coast, this experience offers a memorable way to connect with the natural side of Yucatán.
