Camino de Santiago Sailing Adventure Porto to Povoa First Stage

Set sail on a unique sailing adventure along Portugal's stunning coastline, tracing the first stage of the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. Departing from Matosinhos, navigate infron to Matosinhos and Porto Foz Beach, before arriving in Póvoa de Varzim. Experience the rich history of Vila do Conde during a visit to its charming center. This one-day journey includes (sleeping night in boat optional) and a meal in Vila do Conde ( underground return to Porto by your own), ensuring a seamless experience. We set off at 10 a.m. for a sailing journey of about 4 hours between Matosinhos port and Póvoa de Varzim. We pass the Titan crane, the cruise terminal, and exit near Matosinhos beach. We disembark in Póvoa de Varzim and then head to Vila do Conde . The activity ends there. We will have a guided visit in Vila do Conde step of the Portuguese Camino. The three participants rotate roles—helm, jib, mainsail—learning sailing as the first stage of the Portuguese Coastal Camino de Santiago. Afterward, participants can continue the Camino on their own by foot or bike. The experience includes about 4 hours sailing plus 1 hours to visit Vila do Conde. Afterwards, you return to Porto’s center by metro. That’s the complete plan.
