Overview
Part of what makes this region so unique is the number of small family run brewpubs that dot the countryside. This particular area is blessed with great rural scenery which passes through some pretty small villages. The brewpubs are from another time, simple but of great value. Regional specialties like Geräuchertes (smoked ham) go perfectly with the the very much local brews, often served via gravity dispense. These are beers you're not going to find back home and they'll have you pining for them once back there. The standard route is five miles but there are a variety of routes so please inquire about the length of each. Note that this is a private tour and can be tailored to your group's needs.

- Transportation to and from hike via public transportation.
- Guided 5-mile hike (longer version available) through an area fondly called Franconian Tuscany.
- This is a private tour. It will be only your group and the number will be how many you book.
- We will be stopping a number of small rural brewpubs and all food and beverages are at your own expense.
- Food at brewpubs is also at your own expense.

Meeting and pickup
We will meet in front of DM (drug store), across from the ZOB (central bus terminal) in Bamberg. Please be there promptly at 9:00 as we will get the bus at 9:10 sharp to the trail head.
