The Alberton Gorge Half Day is your most popular run and the fastest way to experience the Clark Fork's signature whitewater. We launch just 40 minutes west of Missoula, drop into the canyon, and run a tight string of Class II and III rapids — Triple Bridges, Tumbleweed, Fang, and Boat Eater among them — broken up by calm pools where you can swim, splash, or just look up at the canyon walls and circling raptors. Your guide handles the line; you handle the paddle. We meet at your Crystal Springs headquarters above the gorge, gear you up with wetsuits, splash jackets, helmets, and PFDs, and have you back on the deck with a cold drink before you know it. Best for first-time rafters, families with kids who can swim, and groups looking for big fun without a full-day commitment.
